See All ReviewsSo happy we stopped at this completely authentic Mexican Food restaurant! Delicious food, great service! Sad that we are traveling and may not have time to come back!
I'm staying next to the convention center and I'm really glad I tried to find a good Mexican place away from the river walk. Way cheaper and better tasting than the Mexican by the river. Got the enchilada plate and a carne asada taco. Both were phenomenal. The enchilada sauce was something else. I'm here for a few more days and I'll be coming back here for lunch daily.
We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning and left feeling better than when we came in, ready to take on the day. The building is small and the door a little sloped, not wheelchair accessible (requiring a few steps), but the atmosphere was festive and extremely welcoming. The food didn't knock our socks off, but we did enjoy what we had and only tried a couple items. We definitely intend to come back for more. As we were leaving, a couple was bringing in bags of clothing and said that the owner distributes clothes for the homeless. As strange as it may be to say it, that remark felt perfectly natural based on our experience eating here.
